Shut UP Bob...
Good Grief. Bob Geldof is at it again. This time, he's going up against EBay because they're allowing sales of tickets for his latest charity show. The Live 8 show is going to be in Hyde Park next month and apparently tickets are being re-sold on EBay for up to £1,000 a pair.

Geldof is trying to get Ebay to drop the auctions, and barring that, is telling people to make impossible bids and to fake out the auction.
The thing that gets me here is all his righteous indignation. Nobody is doing anything illegal here. In fact, Ebay has offered to donate all the money they make on the tickets to the cause. But nooo, Bob's too Moral for that:
"It is not acceptable is that a giant electronic company that makes billions upon billions then morally says we will just hand over our take to a charity.
"It is filthy money made on the back of the poorest people on the planet. Stick it where it belongs."
He basically hates the free market. I wonder how much he's worth, and why he isn't living with the bare minimum so he can give everything else to charity... I wonder if everytime some poor misguided soul buys a copy of "I Don't Like Mondays," every shilling of royalties goes to Africa. If he's living in a van on the Thames, I might be able to stomach him. It's the hypocrisy I can't deal with.
