Where am I?

It has been way too long. We got back and just got caught up in a whirlwind of work and catching up. I also got to go to the U.K. for about a week on a completely random client project. It worked out well because I got to spend the weekend in London to hang out with Georgia and Will. We went to see Avenue Q which was fantastic even the second time around.

I got back and am now glad to be home - just in time to go to Huntsville for Thanksgiving and to New York next weekend for a girls' weekend with Georgia. It's all going to be a lot of fun but part of me just wants to stay home and sleep in my own bed. But I guess I should enjoy it while I can. Otherwise, I'd be bored, right?

I am going to try to get back to blogging regularly. I really did enjoy blogging regularly from South Africa but it is harder when all you have to say is "Went to work. Came Home. Had Dinner. Went to Sleep." Of course, it's always a bit more than that but it does feel a bit of a letdown after Cape Town.

In other news, I'm starting in a new role on Monday and it looks like it's going to keep me busy but be really interesting as well. Plus, my friend Cathy, who used to work for us and left, is coming back next week so I get another work buddy!

Yep, definitely not as interesting as Cape Town. I'll try to do better next time.

Ooh - this is interesting:

More and more people (skeptics, atheists, scientists) I've been reading are starting to endorse a more forceful anti-religion stance. This article has a really good discussion of this and has some great quotes in it.

Enjoy. We're leaving tomorrow to go eat turkey.

Mmmm.. mashed potatoes!
