What a weekend!

It was a very busy weekend. We threw our St. Patrick's Day party on Friday (unusual but necessary to fit in with all the schedules of all the birthday people involved) and it was a HUGE success. A couple of my friends from work are in a band and they showed up and played - so we actually had a live band, which was strange and cool and very very good. I'm not in any of the photos, thank goodness, but if I was, I'd probably have been on the floor.

It took me most of Saturday to recover - let's just say I made some 'bad choices' about what I drank on Friday. But I did manage to recover enough to clean the house up and to go see V for Vendetta on Saturday night. What a great movie! I was very pleasantly surprised.

Then on Sunday, I met up with Jim and a bunch of folks from the Atlanta Film Industry group and we made a movie. It was a (very) short film called "Sober" but it was very good and a lot of fun. The group was great - all talented and funny and fun to hang out with so we all really had a good time.

It was definitely a fun-filled weekend but now I am back at work and trying to survive the week.

This site helped out with the tedium! I usually hate all-Flash sites but this one is very funny and worth the Flash :) I'm also trying to re-vamp the look of the blog. I dont really like the all-black anymore...

I'm trying to mentally prepare myself for all the mayhem that will start up in April. I've got trips to San Francisco, Brazil and Belgium, shows by Ellis Paul, Great Big Sea and Todd Snider plus two nephew birthdays, a sister birthday, a husband birthday and 3 friend birthdays.

OK, that tired me out just thinking about it!
