Lady of Questionable Ethnicity
Haven't had a lot of time to write lately; things have stepped up at work and I've been struggling to keep up. Last week, we went to see Vance Gilbert at Eddie's Attic. I always forget how funny and talented that man is. We had incredible seats (the same seats that we had for Ellis Paul, actually) right in front of the stage and so we were immediate targets for his audience heckling.
He made fun of Jim's hair, hit on Sue (well, asked her to take him home and make him a sandwich) and ended up doing a singsong with the "Lady of Questionable Ethnicity" (me). It was a blast and I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Plus I can now say that I did a solo with Vance Gilbert. :-)
Big weekend coming up! Serenity and Mirrormask are both out this weekend, plus Andy Stewart is in town on Friday night and my friend Nicole is getting married. Christian was supposed to go to D.C. this weekend but his trip got cancelled so I'm quite happy that he'll be around.
Plus, Georgia and James are in town next week! Woo hoo!
