So I'm old...

In other news, I got an email today from our HR guy saying that my life insurance premiums are going up with this round of enrollment because I turned 30 last year. So I'm old and I'm paying for it. That, combined with the fact that I threw my neck out yesterday and was more-or-less immobile for a day, makes me OLD.

I caught up with some college friends last week - one is going through a divorce, the other is having a baby. We're not 19 anymore... I wonder if I can get a deal on a cane...

First post!

I'm not really sure what the point of this is. Everyone else seems to be doing it though, so why shouldn't I?

I doubt I'll have a whole lot that's new and exciting to contribute to cyberspace but I'll give it a shot. I'm thinking this is just a place for me to drop in some random thoughts whenever I feel like it. Knowing me, I'll never send out updates and this blog will die due to lack of attention.

However, let me start with this:

Can someone who understands the law better than I do explain to me how this woman can be charged for ANYTHING in Georgia? They are charging her with one count of making a false police report, a misdemeanor, and one count of false statement, a felony. But she didn't make any false reports in Georgia, did she? As I read it, the phone call where she said she had been kidnapped was in Albuquerque and the authorities there have already said they are not going to press charges there.

Is this doing ANYTHING except spending MORE of our tax dollars? Specifically, MY tax dollars, because I happen to live in the same county as crazy-eyes...
