Poopy day...

I'm having a poopy day. Literally. Vandal is sick and it is not pleasant. I took him to to the vet this morning and they gave him a shot and some meds. He's been out a lot today but then came back and just lay down on the couch and went to sleep. Poor beast is pretty exhausted. The doctor said he should be better in 24-48 hours...

The upside of all this is that I am working from home today, talking to the furniture and watching the Star Trek marathon that is currently on Spike TV.

I noticed today, while watching Deep Space Nine, that the cool Star Trek technology in these shows is really not all the great anymore. We pretty much have most of it now - it's all laptops and touch screens...

Admittedly, we don't really have the flying stuff and the space stations that are quite as cool. But the day-to-day stuff is totally there. Even the decor is now in vogue. So... I guess we live in Star Trek world...

I wonder what Star Trek people did when they had poopy dogs though... that would be valuable information...
