Penguins!!

Yesterday was a wild day! We went along the coast to Chapman's Peak and saw some amazing views, including this one, of a bunch of gorgeous wooden giraffes on sale. I took a lot of great pictures, which will all be uploaded soon, I swear.

We then went to Simonstown and Boulder's Beach which has, yes, you guessed it - PENGUINS!

The place is amazing! We got to walk right up to them and I got some amazing photos. It was fairly surreal and very cool. I was really amazed at how cool and silly they are and how cool they are up close.

Unfortunately, we got paged and we had to get home pretty quickly but the work ended up working out fine and we went to one of the local client people's house for dinner. It was really kind of her to invite us and we had a great time. She cooked a traditional South African meal for us and it was excellent. Plus she had two sweet puppies and I had a great time with them. It made me miss my own monsters.

Today, our pilot went live and so far, it has been really good. We just got back from dinner and I'm checking in and all seems to be fine. Very strange but all good news!

I wish I could write more - the penguin thing was really impressive and I've got some great photos but I'm wiped out and it's time for bed. So off i go.
